Community For Everyone is a groundbreaking project aimed at bridging the gap between profoundly isolated people with intellectual disability and their communities.

We invite you to apply for our FREE training that will equip you with the skills to foster inclusion and build genuine connections. By joining us, you can become a Social Connector or Circle Memberβ€”volunteer roles that support people with intellectual disability expand their social networks and feel more connected.

Social Connector: Weekly commitment of 3-5 hours
Circle Member: Monthly commitment of 3-5 hours

Fridays, 18 October – 15 November
πŸ•› Time: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
πŸ“ Location: Hunter Worker’s Building

Lunch provided.

Workshops include:

  • 18 October: Inclusion 101 🌟
  • 25 October: Planning for a Good Life πŸ—ΊοΈ
  • 1 November: Making Community Connections 🌐
  • 8 November: Inclusion in Action 🀝
  • 15 November: Communication Strategies to Support Decision-Making for people rarely heard πŸ“£

Please also complete the application form.  Everyone is welcome to apply! 🌟 Priority will be given to those committed to becoming a Social Connector or Circle Member. We seek individuals who are ready to make a 2-year commitment with the potential for ongoing involvement. Our approach focuses on matching people based on shared interests to create meaningful, two-way relationships.
