Hunter Circles is a grassroots organisation committed to building freely given relationships so that people with disability can take their rightful place at the heart of community – living big, rich lives filled with purpose, love, connections and equal life chances.
As human beings, we are hard wired for it. It’s loving relationships – people who love us for who we are – who bring us belonging, keep us safe and give life meaning. We all need people in our life who aren’t paid to be there. We strongly believe that the success of the NDIS depends on building freely given relationships and community connections. While the NDIS provides opportunities for participation, it doesn’t buy love – and it’s love that makes the world go ‘round, after all.
People supporting people is at the heart of Hunter Circles – we believe that we all have something to give and we all need each other.
