Each month, we focus on real experiences — what’s been happening, what we’re learning, and what we might try next. It’s a space to support each other, build confidence, and stay connected to what matters.
Who these Meet Ups are for
These sessions are for people who are:
- already involved in Hunter Circles or the Community for Everyone project, or
- interested in getting involved in a meaningful way — particularly in building a relationship alongside a person with intellectual disability who has been profoundly isolated
You don’t need to have it all figured out — just a genuine interest in being part of this and a willingness to explore what it could look like.
What we do together
- reflect on real situations and experiences
- share ideas and learn from each other
- explore practical ways to build and strengthen relationships
- support each other to keep exploring what more is possible, especially when things take time
This is a space that grows through the people in it — your experiences, questions, and ideas all matter.
